This deserves a little explanation.

A toy called 'Flutterbye Fairy' seems to be very popular in Japan right now. Supposedly when charged, it can fly off vertically for a distance, descend, and then off again if it senses anything beneath it.

A mother was troubled when her daughter demanded one just when it was all sold out, so she found a cheaply-copied version(made in China, unsurprisingly) online and....this is what happened.
