RE: The Derp Thread
I love it. Stopped really following Pro Wrestling before he got big but still interested in seeing what he can do. Always fun to see MMA fans also get their panties in a bunch over pro wrestling and deny the history that MMA and wrestling have together even though the first MMA promotions came up out of it with shoots and many of their biggest stars in history were wrestlers. People always whine that they want old Pancrase back, NHB UFC, PRIDE, etc which were all heavily pro wrestling influenced whether they had pro wrestlers on their rosters, wrestling type of rules, actual shoots, pro wrestling production and promos, yet they hate on pro wrestling and declare it as cheapening MMA.
UFC is in pretty desperate need of some stars and particularly big PPV draws as well and Punk is pretty much a guaranteed draw for at least his debut, then it depends on his results from there. A lot of my personal favorites in MMA were pro wrestlers so I have nothing against them at all. But yeah basically this:

CRY WRESTLING HATERS CRY
He's pretty old and beat up so I don't see him being another Sakuraba, Brock, Minoru, Funaki, etc. but he does train and it will be interesting.

RE: The Derp Thread
Pretty easy to catch both online (way cheaper too lol).
They probably give him someone with little experience and skill and almost guaranteed they either immediately put him on a PPV or a FOX card. Would not be smart to risk him losing before you milk him for all he's worth, he's already old and beat up from injuries so strike while it's hot.

RE: The Derp Thread
Just had to take my cat to get put down. He had fallen into a really bad spot and I'm pretty sure it broke his back. He was crying, having seizures and couldn't walk.
Not the way I wanted to start my week...
